Determined to address food insecurity in Framingham, Massachusetts, Alicia and David Blais decided to take action. What began as making 50 sandwiches every Saturday for the homeless quickly grew into a movement. They launched Daniel's Table in 2016 and expanded their efforts to providing 800 meals a week through a small but popular food truck.  In 2018 they launched Daniel's Client-Choice Farmer’s Market & their innovative Community Freezer Program, which now serves over 800,000 meals annually.

Meet David Blais, the Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer of aKinder™Company. David is challenging the status quo in health and wellbeing, pushing humanity forward with his innovative approach. He founded aKinder™Company to tackle the numerous challenges he encountered while working to feed his community—challenges that remain unresolved to this day.

Driven by a mission to create a positive impact, David developed aKinder™ software solutions. These tools leverage technology to empower nonprofit organizations and strengthen communities. The subscription-based service is designed to improve the health and wellbeing of vulnerable individuals and families, streamline nonprofit operations, combat isolation and loneliness, and increase volunteer engagement.

“We are more than just a software company,” David explains. “At aKinder™Company, we are in the business of people, communication, and kindness. Our work is driven by passion and grounded in experience. Through our suite of tools and applications, we are building connections and fostering a more compassionate society.”
